Why not buy tomatoes and cook them to reduce? That’s my go to. I never understood the obsession with canned tomatoes.

In my experience I prefer to get a can of the standard peeled mutti tomatoes and give them a quick blitz with a stick blender and a qtr teaspoon of salt. No sweeteners, no cooking, no herbs. I like to leave the sauce as pure tomato. If the pizza calls for it I’ll top it with fresh basil or dried oregano. Based on what I’ve seen I think most of the Neapolitan pizzaioli do something similar.
