It’s a classic Italian dessert made with a sweet pie crust filled with a lemony custard and topped with toasted pine nuts.

Ingredients:
For the pie crust
2 cups all purpose flour (250 gr)
1/2 cup of white sugar (80 gr)
8 tbsp cold unsalted butter (120 gr)
For the custard
egg yolks 5 unit
1/3 cup white sugar (70 gr)
1 tbsp vanilla paste
2.5 cups whole milk ( 1/2 liter)
1/4 cup cornstarch (30 gr)
1 lemon zest
pinenuts 50 gr
I used a 10″ pie plate
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes, rest in the oven 1 hour and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
