Hi, my name is Jordan, I’m the Vintage Room consultant here at Everything Wine in South Vancouver in our River District location. Now, Italian Wine is awesome, but Piemonte wine is slightly better. Now Piemonte wine is awesome, but wines from the village of Barbaresco are even better. Now Barbaresco wines are amazing but wines from the vineyard Ovello is even better. Now Ovello wines, those bottles are amazing but the parcel called Vigna Loreto, which is only a few acres, is the best, and that vineyard is what Albino Rocca uses to make this Barbaresco Vigna Loreto 2014. This is made from the Nebbiolo grape and is exclusive to Everything Wine.
I’m not going to lie, this is pretty young. This is going to be a cellar-starter for you. If you open it now, it’s a little bit angry. It needs things like protein like pork tenderloin, maybe even roast beef. But if you keep it for about five years, future you will be so proud of now you!
