Andrea Contucci walks us through the centuries at their Renaissance palazzo in the heart of Montepulciano. In this room created for celebrations, you’ll see the 3 dimensional frescoes from 1701 done by the famous Andrea Pozzo, as well as one of the original all wood fortepianos, on which many famous pianists have played.
Their cellar is built in the original walls on Montepulciano and they boast a continuous winemaking tradition in their family since 1010, over 1000 years of winemaking under the same family – making them possibly the oldest winery that exists.
