Invented: Between 1934 and 1948 at Harry’s Bar, on Venice’s famed Piazza San Marco
Traditionally: Made with half Prosecco and half fresh peach juice
Food: Appetizers, finger foods, smoked salmon or prosciutto and melon, seafood, grilled chicken, or roasted turkey
Aroma: ripe melon, sliced peach, and white flowers
Taste: bubbles, fresh lemon cantaloupe, and bitter almond
