Took a day trip to Trieste to explore the castle, city and eat some good food. Trieste is right on the border so the food scene is highly influenced by Croatia, Austria and Slovenia. PS it’s amazing. Trieste is an easy drive from Pordenone. If you think about it pack a swimsuit because the beach is beautiful and the water is so clear.
