Episode One features a visit with Paola into the Mercato di San Lorenzo in early May as the quarantine restrictions are just beginning to open up in the city . From San Lorenzo we visit one of my favorite lunch spots in Firenze that is Enoteca Alessi located in the historic center. We end our episode in the countryside south of Firenze in a wonderful agriturismo of Corzano and Paterno, known not only for their fabulous cheese and yogurt production, but also for their olive oil and wines.
