*****************Pizza Sauce Recipe**************
Ingredients:-
-7-8 Tomatoes (750 grams)
-3-4 tablespoon olive oil
-4 tablespoon chopped Garlic
-1 chopped Onion
-1 tablespoon Fresh Basil chopped
-1 ½ Tablespoon Paprika
-Salt to taste
-1 tablespoon Oregano
-1 tablespoon Sugar
-1 tablespoon Vinegar
Method:-
-Firstly,blanch the tomatoes. Make sure you use red ripe tomatoes for a nice red color. Make criss-cross Slit X on the bottom of tomatoes. Heat water in a pot, Add slit tomatoes and cover the lid. Let them cook on slow to medium flame for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes check if the skin has started to peel off and tomatoes look softened then turn off the gas. Allow them to cool.
-Once tomatoes are cool, remove the skin. Skin should remove easily because of the X slit. Now roughly chop the tomatoes to make Tomato Puree. Using blanched tomatoes will increase the tanginess of the tomatoes. Transfer the tomatoes in blending jar and make puree
-Now let’s make Pizza Sauce. Heat a pan, add olive oil, chopped Garlic, Onion, Fresh Basil. Saute until the onion softens. If you do not have Olive Oil then use Oil & Butter. Add Tomato Puree, seasoning and Mix well. Boil for 15-20 minutes until water dries up. We need thick consistency sauce. Stir in between.
-Once the sauce thickens, add Sugar and Vinegar. Mix well and boil for another 5 minutes. Sauce has thickened now and turn off the gas. Let it cool off completely. You can see the sauce looks thicker than earlier and It has the perfect consistency. Now transfer the sauce in a glass jar so that we can store it for a longer time.We can easily store this sauce in the refrigerator for 20-25 days. Our Homemade Pizza Sauce is Ready.
