According to the restaurant’s website, its approach centered on “classic family recipes made with fresh, local ingredients.”
The menu offered a variety of Italian favorites, including pasta dishes, brick-oven pizzas and entrees like stuffed portabella and eggplant Parmesan. It also featured weekly specials, an extensive wine selection, draft beer and cocktails.
The closure comes shortly another downtown Waxhaw restaurant, Food Geeks Eatery, shut its doors following a rent dispute with the landlord, CharlotteFive reported.
Capricci’s True Italian did not respond to a request for comment from CharlotteFive by the time of publication.
