'People' are not disappointed with the food in Italy- AMERICANS are disappointed with the food in Italy because they are so used to so many chemicals in their food. This episode was incredibly annoying

italian cuisine is based on high quality ingredients. we don’t overspice on purpose because we want to taste those. maybe the problem is that in the USA ingredients are not high quality and don’t have lots of flavour, then yes you need spices to compensate.
