Sat for a wonderful dinner with the Family at Alfredo alla Scrofa in Rome- Had to experience the Alfredo since we were where it all began…… This restaurant was owned by famous restaurateur Alfredo di Lelio, who invented Alfredo originally around 1907–1908 at a restaurant on Piazza Rosa, and later popularized at his permanent locations like Alfredo alla Scrofa (opened in 1914) and later Il Vero Alfredo.
