Ingredients
Molino Rossetto Italian Dried Mother Yeast, 2 tbsp— Shop:
EVOO – Roi Mosto Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2-3 tbsp — Shop:
Fresh Basil to taste
00 Flour, 1 lb
Tomato Salsa, 8 oz.
Mozzarella, 16 oz.
Water, 1 1/4 cup
Sugar, 1 tbsp
Sea Salt, 1 tbsp
In a bowl add flour, mother yeast, sugar, salt, and water
Mix well and knead for about 10 minutes
Let rise for about 2 hours
Preheat oven to 375°F
Roll the dough lightly using a rolling pin and using flour to handle
Cover with a layer of tomato salsa and pieces of torn mozzarella
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes
Garnish with basil and sprinkle with EVOO
