Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is bringing fresh mozzarella, house-made pasta and Italian specialties to Burlington County, with plans to open a new store in late 2027.
The specialty grocery chain said the new marketplace will be located in East Gate Square at 1311 Nixon Drive in Moorestown.
An opening date has not been announced.
The market’s other New Jersey locations are in Tinton Falls, Ramsey and Morris Plains.
Carl DelPrete, CEO and co-founder of Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, said in a statement that the Moorestown location “gives us a chance to reach customers in South Jersey and continue growing in a market where people already know Uncle Giuseppe’s.”
“We think it’s a very good fit for what we do,” he said.
The Moorestown marketplace is expected to feature many of the departments and offerings that have become hallmarks of the brand.
Items include fresh mozzarella made in-store, house-made pasta, full-service meat and seafood departments, Italian deli, scratch bakery, prepared foods, fresh produce, specialty cheeses, and imported Italian products.
The company said much of the shopping experience is focused on fresh food production that customers can watch firsthand, including pasta making, mozzarella production, bread baking and meats cut to order.
The company said hiring for the Moorestown location has already begun, with positions available across management, deli, bakery, meat, seafood, prepared foods, produce, grocery and customer service departments.
