Lovers of a Bourbon biscuit will be beyond themselves when they hear about this new Italian-inspired flavour that’s just launched. Yes, it’s our favourite Italian dessert, tiramisu, turned into a delicious tiramisu bourbon biscuit!
And you’ll find it in Sainsbury’s supermarkets. This Sainsbury’s own-brand biscuit is part of its festive range and is officially called ‘Bourbon Twists’, with a festive tiramisu-flavoured filling. And it’ll only set you back 70p for a 150g pack, which is seriously great value.

Taking inspiration from the classic Italian dessert, expect that familiar chocolatey Bourbon biscuit paired with coffee-inspired flavours in the middle. Chocolate and coffee is already one of our favourite combinations, so giving the humble Bourbon a little Italian makeover feels like a great idea.
We can totally imagine these being the perfect base for our Bourbon biscuit tiramisu recipe (one of the best desserts we’ve tried, by the way). Swap the regular biscuits for these and you’ve instantly doubled down on those chocolate and coffee flavours before you’ve even added the creamy mascarpone layer. We’d also happily serve a few alongside an espresso for an incredibly easy after-dinner treat.
