Here’s a simple, creamy White Sauce spaghetti🍝 recipe perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:
●200 g spaghetti
●2 tbsp butter
●2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
●2 cups milk
●½ tsp black pepper powder
●1 tsp mixed herbs or Italian seasoning
●1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
●Salt to taste
●1/2 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or processed cheese)
●1 tbsp minced garlic
●1 tsp oil (for boiling pasta)
●1 tsp olive for cooking

Method:
1. Cook the spaghetti:
●Boil plenty of water with salt and 1 tsp oil.
●Add spaghetti and cook until al dente (8–10 minutes or according to the package).
●Drain and reserve ¼ cup pasta water.

2. Make the white sauce:
●Heat 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp olive oil
●Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
●Add flour and cook for 1 minute on low heat.
●Gradually whisk in the milk to avoid lumps(add 1 cup milk first and mix well then add another cup milk).
●Cook until the sauce thickens.
●Add salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, chili flakes, and cheese. Stir until smooth.

3. Combine:
●Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce
●Mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
●Cook for 1–2 minutes.

Serve
Garnish with extra cheese, chili flakes, oregano, and freshly chopped parsley or coriander. Serve hot with garlic bread.

Tip: For extra flavor, add grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms, or paneer.
