
I don’t see this discussed or attempted often, but it seem like it could allow for some innovative sauce distribution techniques. I postulate that a perfectly Homogenous sauce layer may not be optimal, some heterogeneity could be preferred for uniquie bites, but which pattern is best.

If it’s all the same style/flavour sauce than why bother? I can see doing this as a finishing technique. But otherwise doesn’t add anything in my opinion.
Lol, I was thinking of this last week. It opens the doors for some interesting saucy options.
if you want fun sauce designs, put it on top of the cheese 🙂
I prefer to minimise the contact my food makes with plastic, unless there’s some great benefit I can’t replicate.
