Miso paste pairs beautifully with noodles, and so does cheese. That got me thinking, what if I combined them as the key ingredients? With the help of a cheese kransky, this dish was born.
Lots and lots of cheese is the key to this dish. Although it started as a bit of an experiment, it turned out incredibly well!

FULL RECIPE:

Cheezy Miso Kransky Noodles

INGREDIENTS
200g lo mein noodles
4 cheese kransky sausages
1/2 onion, sliced
1 cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 spring onion, chopped
1 Tbsp miso paste
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup reserved noodle cooked water
4 cheese slices
Shredded mozzarella cheese (add enough to cover the pan)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook the noodles until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the noodle water.
2. Slice the cheese kranskys in half and fry them in a pan until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
4. Add half of the chopped spring onions and cook.
5. Stir in the miso paste, soy sauce, and sugar until combined.
6. Add the reserved noodle water, then toss in the cooked noodles until evenly coated in the sauce.
7. Lay the cheese slices over the noodles, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly on top.
8. Return the cooked kransky to the pan and scatter the remaining spring onions greens over the top.
9. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat until the cheese has completely melted.
10. Serve immediately while hot.
