I guess everyone is different, some are “triggered” by non-alcoholic beers and it doesn’t bother others. Personally I don’t like them so I just stick to Pepsi Max.
I gave up drinking not my friends 🙂 So far I have no issues being around it. I also like a nice cold Guinness or a Heineken 0.0 on occasion. My life is so much better without alcohol. What I thought was going to be a month challenge for me has moved on to nearly 4 months. Fun fact… It has taken my body 3 months to start pooing properly. 🙂

Yes the booze is everywhere, the craving left me a long time ago so no danger for me personally , I remember in my drinking days playing in the British Hockey league going up to play the likes of fife flyers, the man of the match would get 60 cans of McKewans beer , all would be gone before the team bus left the rink.

I hate how, Especially here in Ireland even parents get their children excited as they get close to turning 18 at the prospect of legally being able to drink too, Its sick! Buying them 18 stamped birthday pint glasses and cards with "let's get drunk" type slogans on them, Alcohol is a systemic issue everywhere
Some people might need to avoid certain situations entirely, like casinos, pubs, or a cruise. It depends on where you're at with your sobriety. I'm very happy with not drinking so I can go to a casino. I just spent 5 days at the casino and won $500 on the World Cup betting on England and Mexico. The bartender knew me and knew to give me a pepsi. But some people might need to totally avoid that situation. It depends in how tempted or triggered you might be.
