It was delicious!
1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup minced parsley
1 lb fettuccini
2 tbsp butter
1 qt heavy cream
salt, black pepper
I have to sneak vegetables in everything I cook for my 84 year old mom. In my Alfredo sauce, I add onions, mushrooms and spinach. Sometimes I will steam broccoli and add it as a side.
Recipes like this I tend to now use half and half because the heavy cream is a little too heavy on our tummies. Plus I would definitely add mushrooms to this!
Love watching your videos. What I like most about your cooking is the way you can work on the fly. "Don't have this? Use that. Or use what you have." Often I start with the recipe and ad-lib my way thru it. Don't have pork? I use hamburger. With hamburger up at $5 a pound, I buy a $4 roast and have the butcher coarse grind it. Stopped buying bread and make my own for about 20% of what a loaf costs. Thanks to you I rarely go out to restaurants because I cook nearly as well as most. Thanks, again.
My older daughter makes fun of me for worrying about that last bit of heavy cream on the bottom of the carton! I add a splash of water, give it a shake and drink it lol

I'm not a health nut by any means, but a cup of whipping cream as a serving of sauce is going to ruin my night
