🇷🇴 Andrei is a 27-year-old man, born in Ploiești, near Bucharest, Romania.
🇮🇹 He moved to Italy with his family and spent his childhood and teenage years in the green and peaceful region of Tuscany.
In this land of wine, art, and great food, Andrei quickly adapted, naturally embracing the local accent and the sharp, witty humor of the people around him.
🎶 ⚽ In Monsummano Terme, the city where he grew up, he had the opportunity to cultivate many of his passions; from sports, which he follows enthusiastically as a spectator, to music, his greatest hobby.
🎸 He taught himself how to play the bass guitar and has performed with his band at several live events and music festivals.
His deep interest in history and international geopolitics, however, comes from his father, who grew up under Ceaușescu’s regime in Romania and directly experienced the impact of a modern dictatorship.
🎓 Inspired by his father’s stories, Andrei decided to study Political Science in Florence, later specializing in International Security at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
✨Today, he works as an Intelligence Security Analyst, fulfilling his long-held dream of building a career in the field he has always been most passionate about.
🌍 Andrei’s story is, in many ways, easy to relate to: a true, ironic, and authentic journey, where History with a capital “H” blends with our own personal, seemingly ordinary lives, making them unique and unrepeatable, simply because they are ours.
