Super Tuscan means traditional Sangiovese grapes are blended with estate grown Cabernet & Merlot to a get a richer, more plush wine. It’s essentially an Italian “Bordeaux Style” wine. Vinous gave it a 94 score, and called it “Terrific, Bold, Pliant, Generous, Impeccably Done.” I guess they liked it. When the Wine Spectator named this a *Value Pick of the Week* in the “Insider Weekly,” they nailed it! Sure, $28 isn’t everyone’s everyday wine pricing, but it’s still a LOT less expensive than most super-premium wines out there and it’s a lot of wine! Get yours thru Esquin Wine Merchants!
