In Episode 23 of Sarakku Adikkalaama, I finally revealed something I have never shown before on social media — my secret wine cellar. Many of you know me as the guy with over 200 bottles of alcohol, and over the years, I’ve shown you my walk-in bar collection. But what most people didn’t know is… that’s not everything.

Hidden away is my wine cellar, something I’ve kept private — until now. Unlike my main bar, which features a wide range of whiskies, gins, vodkas and premium spirits, my wine cellar is a completely different world. Inside, you’ll find a curated selection of:

Moscatos
Champagne
Sake
Coffee Liqueur
Italian Cherry Liqueur
And many more unique bottles

This collection is not just about value — it’s about taste, preference, and experience.

One of the most interesting things about this cellar is that it is mostly my wife’s collection. She prefers lower alcohol percentage drinks, sweeter and smoother profiles and more approachable flavours

That’s why you’ll see a lot of Sparkling Wines, fruity liqueurs and light and refreshing alcohol options. It’s a completely different style compared to my usual collection — and that’s what makes it special.

In this episode, I also explained why a wine cellar is not just a luxury, but a necessity if you’re serious about storing certain types of alcohol. Wine, champagne, and some liqueurs need to be kept at stable, cool temperatures away from direct light and proper humidity conditions. Without the right storage, the flavour, quality, and even value of these bottles can be affected over time.
