We head to a Baltimore City institution—Trinacria!

This more than century-old operation is a staple in a part of Downtown people ignore far too much.

Trinacria’s got a selection of all the best Italian and Sicilian imports, homemade pastas, house-baked bread that’s still warm as it’s sitting on the shelf(!) a great selection of classic desserts, to-order sandwiches, as well as an espresso bar!

  1. Sounds like a cool place to visit. From either MARC Station, take the light rail to either the Vermont or Lexington Mkt Station (both are .3 miles away) From Vermont south on Howard, left on Franklin and left on Paca. From Lexington Mkt, north on Howard, left on Mulberry and right on Paca.

  2. the canned sauces and fresh pastas are great too. I'm not much of a home chef so those big jars of tomato sauce hit the spot

  3. Interesting that you didn’t film anything at Eutaw / Saratoga. Would that be because you don’t want to show all the junkies, drug dealers, mentally ill, and homeless?

You should really warn people about that kind of thing in an area like that. Some people may know nothing about Baltimore and not know how dangerous it is. That area has many assaults, robberies, shootings, and homicides.
