We finally explore Melbourne, Victoria… and this city completely surprised us 🇦🇺

As Brits living in Australia, we’ve seen a lot, but Melbourne feels totally different. From hidden laneways and European-style arcades to street food spots that rival anything we’ve seen before… this city has a vibe of its own.

We start the day leaving Port Campbell and heading back towards Melbourne, stopping for a quick coffee before arriving in the heart of the city. After checking into our apartment, it’s time to explore.

First impressions? Degraves Street instantly stands out as it’s buzzing, full of life, and unlike anywhere else we’ve been in Australia. Then we stumble across the stunning Block Arcade… a place that genuinely didn’t feel like Australia at all.

From there, we explore more of Melbourne’s famous laneways, Chinatown, and even witness the iconic Melbourne “hook turn” (which completely blew our minds 😅).

To finish the day, we head to Grazeland to see how it compares to Eat Street in Brisbane… and let’s just say, we had a LOT to say about it.

  1. Melbourne is not Australia, it's a foreign country to me and I wouldn't be upset if the entire city was deported back to where they came from. Howdy from Tasmania.

  2. Holy money how did I end up watching this garbage. Lay off the filters, lay off the cringe planned dialogue, the cringe content, the fake attempts at a personality and go back to the UK, I mean homelessness and terror central 😂😂

  3. I hate Melbourne, its run by Socialists and home of the most draconian longest lockdowns over 2 years.
And its been invaded by Muslims, Hindus, Budhists, Sikhs.

    All enemies of Christianity.

    Coinicidence?

  4. Your reaction to everything is so over the top. Is it fake or you guys are just a couple of infantiles?

  5. If the "Hook turn" surprised you, try out the " P turn" at the intersection of Punt Road and Swan Street Richmond. It's where motorists must turn left, perform a U-turn, and then travel straight through an intersection.

  6. why would u come to melbs and go to some place to eat mac and cheese and go to that venue grazeland, melbs offers so much to offer and u did 5% of things to do in melbs

  7. Melbourne's Chinatown is the second oldest in the world after Frisco. You can pretty much go to any part of Melb and get great food. The owners of Grazeland opened Melbourne first and then Brisbane, same owners, you can't name a business the same as another in Aus if you don't own the name.
