Italian Focaccia🇮🇹
Ingredients
• 380 ml water
• 6 g yeast
• 490 g all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp olive oil
Toppings
• feta cheese
• olives
• sun-dried tomatoes
• dried oregano
• dried rosemary
• dried dill
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the water and yeast. Let it sit for a few minutes until the yeast dissolves.
2. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise until doubled in size.
5. Transfer the dough to a baking tray and gently stretch it into a flat focaccia shape.
6. Crumble the feta over the dough and add the olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Sprinkle with dried oregano, rosemary, and dill.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
