I just made this recipe, except that I used a shredded carrot 🥕 in addition to the cabbage, apple 🍎 cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, kidney beans 🫘, and I didn’t have seasoned Panko breadcrumbs so I toasted regular Panko breadcrumbs with your base seasoning and olive oil.
It was delicious.
Otherwise, I used your exact recipe.😂
I LOVE cabbage. Thanks for the new recipe. I take all the pieces of veggies that are clean and not used (even the onion skins, stems from parsley and ends of celery) and make vegetable stock. It's wonderful.

Hello my dear, as I am writing this comment, my Italian Braised Cabbage is slowing bubbling away, I nearly didn’t start, I only had a small amount of cabbage, I am vegan, I always have vegetables in my fridge, some fresher than others, today was cabbage day, now I live on the same property as my 43yo chef son, he is not into my “food”, he really doesn’t know what he is missing out on, well he just walked the dog over to my shed, I said, oh I thought you were here to ask what’s cooking, no, just walking the dog, I returned to my cooking, the door opened, he said it smells great, what is it, cabbage, I said, he was dumbfounded. Thank you for sharing, it does smell great, can’t wait to taste it. The breadcrumbs taste fab.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤well, here I am back again, I don’t know the best word to describe your recipe, I have never looked forward to a cabbage meal this much, it is a sensation I have never experienced with cabbage before, well done, it’s amazing, and I forgot my cheese, vegan of course, WOW❤❤❤❤❤
