โ€ข 250 g pasta (9 oz)
โ€ข 400 g cherry tomatoes (14 oz)
โ€ข 1 head of garlic, peeled
โ€ข ~1/2 cup olive oil (enough to cover)
โ€ข 70 g butter (5 tbsp)
โ€ข 1 tbsp chili oil (optional) ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ
โ€ข 1 sprig thyme
โ€ข 1 sprig rosemary
โ€ข salt & pepper
โ€ข 1/2 cup parmesan
โ€ข fresh basil (optional)

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions
1. Confit
Add cherry tomatoes, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to a pot
Cover with olive oil

Cook on low heat for 30โ€“40 minutes
(do not boil)

2. Blend
Remove thyme and rosemary

Add to blender:
tomatoes, garlic, a bit of the oil, butter, chili oil, salt

Blend until smooth and creamy

3. Pasta
Cook pasta al dente
Reserve some pasta water

4. Finish
Add sauce to the pan with pasta
Mix well, adding a splash of pasta water

Stir in parmesan
