Three years ago we started our concept @meetyourwagyu to share with the world the depth and beauty of Wagyu.

The whole concept came from the idea of sharing about specific farmers and the work they do to develop the Wagyu world, which is what most beef farmers around the world use as a reference for raising beef.

We also understand that in a country where you can find more than 40,000 farmers, there are unique stories to be shared.

That’s one of the reasons we created @meetyourwagyu. The idea was and is to share about the different farmers around Japan, while communicating their stories with the world.

We recently hosted @maxthemeatguy and created a burger for him. This burger will be shared at @meetyourwagyu next month.

Starting next month, we will also begin offering this burger in our shop, and we can’t wait to serve it to you. It’s a burger built around the beef, and nothing else. A burger for Max the Meat Guy.

The beef origin will be shared shortly. For now, we are honored and grateful to have shared our passion with Max, and can’t wait to share it with you as well.

  1. What's the point of a wayu burger when you can control the fat content of the meat yourself? It's not the meat that makes wagyu great, it's the unique fat content together with the distribution, no? That means making a burger out of it removes those aspects mostly, doesn't it? Wouldn't it make more sense to make regular burgers but fry them up in wagyu tallow instead?
