This What I eat in a day on the WW Weight Watchers Green plan has me loving my new low smart point dinner recipe – American Goulash. I show you what I eat all day long – breakfast, lunch and cook with me dinner! Look below for the recipe. So far since January 2nd I have lost a total of 12.4 pounds, and 5.4 pounds in the month of February! I am so glad I decided to join Weight Watchers. It has been super enjoyable.

American Goulash
SERVINGS 4
With Ground Beef per serving: 8 SP
With Ground Chicken per serving: 8 SP
With Ground Turkey per serving: 6 SP
Ingredients
1 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground chicken
1 pound ground turkey
0.5 large onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
1.5 cups water
0.5 tablespoon beef base or bouillon
1 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 15 ounce cans diced tomatoes (one petite diced)
1 bay leaves
1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
0.5 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoons paprika
0.4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cups elbow macaroni noodles uncooked
1 tsp parsley
0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
(I subbed this) 8 light cheese stick (1 per serving)
Instructions
Brown ground beef in a large stock pot.
Remove from pan and drain.
Spray pan
Add the diced onion and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat until tender.
Add the garlic and cook another minute.
Return ground beef to pot along with the water, beef base, cans of tomatoes and sauce, soy sauce, bay leaves, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, paprika, and black pepper.
Stir together, bring to a boil, cover, reduce to low and let simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in the noodles, cover, and simmer 15-20 minutes or until al dente.
Stir occasionally to prevent noodles from sticking to the bottom.
Just before serving, stir in the cheese. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
