Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.

*Recipe and Ingredients:*
– 2.25 lbs. of 80/20 Ground Beef/Chuck
– ¼ cup Dried Basil
– 4 cloves of chopped Garlic
– 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
– 1.5 Tsp. dried Oregano
– 4 Eggs
– 2 Tsp. LSG Texas Fusion or Salt/Pepper
– 1.5 cups Italian Style Breadcrumbs
– 1 cup grated/shredded Parmesan Cheese
– ¼ cup fresh chopped Parsley
– 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce or you can use Marinara Sauce
– Mozzarella or Provolone Cheese for melting on top of the skillet

*DIRECTIONS:*

ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.
1) In a large bowl (for mixing the meatballs) add ground beef, basil, garlic, onion, oregano, eggs, Texas Fusion (or salt/pepper), breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley and mix well with your hands until everything is well-combined and sticks to your hand/glove. This is how you’ll know it’s ready for forming meatballs.
2) Form Meatballs into 2.5-3.0-ounce portions.
3) Pre-heat your smoker/grill to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (or in that range).
4) Place Meatballs onto grill and allow them to cook for approximately 60 minutes or until they reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the center of each meatball.
5) Place Meatballs into a 12” round cast-iron skillet, cover with BBQ/marinara sauce, top with cheese.
6) Melt in grill/smoker until done to your liking.
7) SERVE AND ENJOY!
