▬▬▬ 📗 Ingredients 📗 ▬▬▬
Ingredients:
• Pasta (any shape) – 2 cups / approx. 250 grams
• Salt – 1 tsp (for boiling) + to taste (for sauce)
• Oil – ½ tsp (for boiling) + 2 tbsp (for sauce) / Olive oil optional
For Tomato Sauce:
• Tomatoes – 5 to 6 medium, ripe red
• Dry Kashmiri red chillies – 4 to 5 (optional, for colour)
• Garlic – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
• Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
• Mixed seasoning / Oregano – 1 tsp
• Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
• Black pepper powder – to taste
• Sugar – 1 to 2 tsp (to balance acidity)
• Fresh basil leaves – handful (or dry basil/oregano as substitute)
Optional Add-ins:
• Carrot – chopped
• Capsicum – chopped
• Zucchini – chopped
• Mushrooms – chopped
For Finishing:
• Reserved pasta water – 1 cup
• Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 to 2 tsp (optional, for colour)
• Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp (optional)
• Grated cheese – as needed
• Fresh cream – 2 tbsp (optional)
• Mozzarella cheese – for plating / stuffing
