Palermo is not a city you simply visit.
It’s a city you feel.

In this video, I wander through Sicily’s most cinematic capital — a place of Arab-Norman beauty, loud football passion, and a history that still carries heavy shadows.

I visit the Renzo Barbera Stadium for a night with Palermo FC, where pink shirts meet pure southern chaos.

But Palermo is also the city of Padre Pino Pugliesi, Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino – who stood up to the Mafia… and paid with their lives.

This is a travel story about football, memory, and resistance.

Welcome to Palermo.

  1. Thanks for the very informative content and looking forward to your new videos. Greetings from a passionate Feyenoord supporter based in Kigali, Rwanda.

  2. Such awful news about the POAK fans. We travel away in Europe for games a lot and I guess it shows the fragility of life.

  3. Randomly came up on my suggested and I love it. The mix of history, city scenery and football is something new! I like this kind of content because football IS part of most cities culture. Well done mate. May I ask what camera you use? Your image is coloured great and views are crisp. Again, well done friend.

  4. Fantastic video Anthony! I have been to Palermo over a dozen times but you taught me many things I didn't know, thank you.
