New Italian restaurant!

Guess what??? There’s a new Italian restaurant that has just opened in Glenelg and you NEED to know about it!

Welcome to @pias.glenelg – “loud Italian, hot pizza”

Fresh antipasti, @skalabakery focaccia, creamy whipped ricotta, and the pizzas….where do I start?!

We enjoyed:

✨ Whipped honey ricotta
✨ Salumi plate
✨ Burrata mini
✨ Rocket man pizza (GF base – was really good!)
✨ Ciao morty pizza
✨ Good fellas pizza (that @quinbyshoney hot honey was sensational!)
✨ Rocket salad
✨ House made tiramisu
✨ Birra moretti
✨ No-groni fizz

Their 48h-proofed dough was sensational. The base was so incredibly thin, it held the toppings so perfectly, it really was a dream to eat.

Then comes the crust…..it was the perfect combination of soft, chewy and crispy.
Each pizza was served with vodka sauce to dip, so no crust went to waste!

Let me tell you, dipping that pizza crust into the vodka sauce was one of the highlights of the entire lunch! That sauce needs to be bottled and sold!
I want to smother it over everything!

Finishing on a beautifully creamy tiramisu, I am already dreaming about coming back!
The quaint venue is so comforting, you really do feel like you’re at Nonna’s house! 💕
