One more month and it’s will be Tomato canning season here in the North east of America, getting my jars ready.I agree with all of your comments on these recipes Vincenzo.someone needs to buy Jamie a food mill.
I'd like to see the Italian trained iron chef from Japan, react to Jamie Oliver's Italian looking dishes.
Vincenzo at 2:28: ‘How is that lovely?’ 😂 at the breadcrumbs 😅 as he munches lunch lol 😆
Jamie’s not even a chef. Funny that if you watch his steak videos they are edited and not even the same steak he cooks. Someone else does all his cooking. He is pure 🚮
I just made a very egotistical comment and I apologiz. I am a purist and I believe that, if a person is cooking food from a certain nationality/culture, their food should be as true to that style and process of cooking as they can do. What Jamie did In this video was to make dishes that seemed like Italian dishes, but he then prostituted them by the order in which he added the ingredients and by what he added. I've seen Gordon Ramsay mutilate "Italian" dishes with such gusto that they did not resemble the dish they claimed to be. I've also seen other British cooks turn what they're calling Italian into something unrecognizable, because of the process and the ingredients they used. That's the point I was trying to make. If you're going to cook italian, find out what that means and cook Italian.
You breaking the spaghetti with the napkin? Oh, my god. Jamie, are you a criminal?
Love the videos Vincenzo, but that spaghetti to orzo idea is great. Definitely makes the recipe more accessible to area with lower quality grocery stores like parts of the US 🤘
Now you know how Uncle Roger feels. And yes, he cooks the pasta way too early. Pretty much every time. Gordon Ramsey told his chefs in Hell's Kitchen that even his grandmother doesn't cook pasta until three minutes before she needs it. Which may be a little close on the time, but you get the drift. Simple, good ingredients, treat them well, and cook with love. The technique can come later, these three things are the core, the base. The soffritto, if you will.
The garlic bread looks hard. First look.
Not really Italian myself. Just a little. Never heard of leak in dishes. Plan on enhancing my experience.
This bs is why I watch your videos.
Too. Much. WATER.
First thing I notice with Jaime is – his girth – He's obviously suffering from Insulin Resistance… very common now in the U.S.
Raw tuna on top just seems criminal.
Asian tomatoes are actually more sour and more watery than what Italians use. That's why most asians use canned tomato sauce instead, which makes asian pasta dishes sweeter than Italian pasta dishes. We use our tomatoes in stews and and soups instead.
Amazing that you recommend removing the stems of the tomatoes! That's so obvious! lol
It has been years since I cooked a pasta bake… and nothing of that would I ever use. He F's around far too much and achieves F all.
As always lovely commentary my Friend…😊👍💖
Blending a pre-made product must have made it so much better 🤣 …..horrible
I haven’t watched but when I saw frozen spinach….im sorry
Ive eaten at a few of his places, 15 London. Jamie and Jimmies in my home town. Jamies Italian. And they where- ok.
As a chef for many years, I enjoy your videos because your reactions are teaching positive information, and also saying "NO" with reasoning 😂😁
Mis hermanos chefs latinos tambien les encantan tus videos 😂😁😁😂
Sorry for any misspelling, we like to play videos and podcasts in the background at work and yours are popular now. Love from a small kitchen in Florida!!!
