Street food in Italy is an absolute treat. No matter where you go, there’s something scrumptious (and often fried) waiting around the corner. In this special episode, two iconic cities go head-to-head in a street food showdown: Naples vs. Rome.

Both cities are known for their unique flavors, local favorites, and serious food culture, but which one takes the crown when it comes to street food? I picked five must-try dishes from each city, reviewed them one by one, and scored them too.

  1. What does tiramisu have to do with Rome? It's like judging desserts by eating cannoli in Milan…

  2. Italian guys out here eating an entire pizza for breakfast and they’re still thin and healthy. You can understand why RFK Jr is fighting to remove the weird chemicals from American food.

  3. Tiramisu with a smile @19:38 and what a very lovely young woman she is…. 🥰 Oh wait have to choose…..hmm… I think I'd go for that Pasta dish.

  4. You should do a video with Tasting History. You love traditional Italian food. He has the lost ingredient, the magical Garum. And the long pepper. It would be amazing.

  5. You can compare tiramisu with babà, frittatina with supplì, the tándem panino with trapizzino… His approach is not very appropriate for an expert in Italian gastronomy 😅

  6. Pizza a Napoli . By the way, Lorenzo, I really enjoyed your last video where you told us about your background. Huge respect !

  7. Another great video (despite that sweater!! hehehe). Those are two of my favorite cities on the planet!!! I cant wait to return. Thank you, Vincenzo!!

  8. I loved food in both places, except in Naploli where I almost threw everything up due to traffic. no matter where we go in the world my supreemely confident German husband (I'm Irish) always takes a hire car. in Naples I made him stop, got out of car and vomited on side of road from stress, then I asked for a Xanax sandwich!

  9. Hey Vincenzo I used your pasta al pomodoro with Burrata recipe and adapted the quantities to do it for about 30-35 people. Everyone loved it including myself and it’s possible to do it for about 100$ U.S dollars
