  1. i had many in naples but the standout was the da michele. It was incredible. the ingridients ware top notch i could eat 5 pizzas there and not feel full heavy and tired. great quality and great price. i like the "wet" style. the cheese and the tomatoes combined into an own sauce.

  2. Whoever told you Neapolitean pizza should be eaten with knife and fork must have been Roman. Totally not true. Also you did not went to the best places in my opinion (Sorbillo, Starita or the real number one Pepe in Grani). Like people are mentioning for NY, you went to touristy places in Naples as well. Nevertheless entertaining video as always. Just unfortunate that when in Naples, they didn't show you the places you would absolutely love!

  3. Whatever they sell in US is not a real pizza unless it comes from a serious Italian family. It's always a cheap substitute which has nothing to do with real pizza. Neapolitan pizza is the real deal. It's the same like bread…american sweet breads have nothing to do with european crunchy breads without too much sugar in it.

  4. Well, since you can get both, a quick couple of slices, or go for fancy brick oven in New York , there's really one true winner.

  5. I have had pizza in various cities in Italy and honestly was never really that impressed. Not saying they are bad but I rather have NYC or New Haven pizza.

  6. I was born in NYC, still believe we have the best pizza in America. I had my first Italian pizza in Pisa of all places. I also realized that their is nothing wrong with anchovies. It is a butt of sitcom jokes about pizza, but it is worth it.

  7. Michele deserves more shade! They use soybean oil instead of olive oil, and stretch on raw 00 instead of semolina or semola which is gut friendly. it's just a tourist trap because of the movie! Literally go anywhere else if you want a more authentic experience. Why go all the way to naples for fake neapolitan!

  8. Neapolitan pizza is so overrated imo. You need crunch in some form or another in pizza. (and yes I've been to Italy at least 6 times, lived most of my life in european eating good quality ones)

  9. Pizza and similar dishes were a cheaper daily food in the Mediterranean region. That's why too much pizza is too much pizza.

  10. God I HATE when the video start with my location language – its so unauthentic please disable it for france its a robot voice

  11. What the hell is happening here? Visiting all the basic NY Chain places? What's next, Domino's and Pizza Hut?
