Did you know that Spaghetti Meatballs is a dish that comes from the Abruzzo region? Exactly from the town of Teramo, and it is made with mini meatballs, but we all know that when an Italian dish (not only) arrives in America, they completely change it, and always for the worse!
I know that spaghetti meatballs are loved by many, but I really suggest you try my Nonna’s recipe, the one with mini meatballs, because only in that way can you enjoy a real forkful of pasta in which there are all the ingredients of the dish , which the version with the giant meatballs cannot give you!

The 1st and 3rd recipes look good…But that 2nd one in the Instant Pot, NOOOOOOOOO! Please, no! 🤢🤮😂 That 'Classico' sauce isn't the worst brand in terms of premade sauces but FROZEN prebagged meatballs?!? That's just a food travesty! And I never understood cooking pasta in milk or sauces. It never comes out the right consistency and is either too hard or too mushy. Personally, I think pasta comes out best when boiled in water then added to the sauce.
Teach me how to make gnocchi please
Vincenzo, please do your own video with the spaghetti nests with your nona's meatballs. I'd love to see that. You could do a series where you take other people's ideas and add traditional Italian.
Amazing ❤❤
How about spaghetti and meat sauce instead of tiny meatballs? Wouldn't it be pretty close to the same to take pre-seasoned and browned, ground meat, and add it to the tomato sauce? The taste wouldn't necessarily be the exact same, but would the texture be similar? I've never tried the mini meatballs, but it looks like a lot of effort.
The spaghetti from the first video was really bad, Americans can't cook pasta, you can see how dead the spaghetti was, you called it sad, I can tell that it was overcooked and left out of the water, it's the worst thing you can do to pasta 😢
You should do a reaction to max millers Chef Boyardee video. I never knew chef boyardee was a real person.
Have you ever tried making Swedish köttbullar but ended up or accidentally made Danish frikadeller?
Vincenzo speaks sense
New subscriber, I love this guy. He makes me want to TRY to make the things he showcases in his other videos. He makes me think I could actually do it when he explains it, but I know I’ll end up with kitchen utensils out in the back yard.
In defense of the 2nd person,😂 she is making what I call a “shut the fk up and eat it or don’t, I don’t give a sht, I worked all day” dinner which I have experienced before 😂
7:09 I have had that sauce, and I can confidently say,
It’s fine. Not good. Not great.
Just fine. Which might be worse than bad, actually, because at least with a bad sauce everyone can recognize it as a bad sauce.
Swede here. We do have a recipe for (Swedish) meatballs and pasta that you definitely are going to have a meltdown over XD!
It is called "Stuvade makaroner med köttbullar" (Stewed makaroni with meatballs) which is elbow makaroni boiled in milk served with meatballs on the side.
It has been around since the 1950's in Sweden
I will admit that I have made a bolognese inspired sauce from scratch in an instant pot a few times. The pasta weren't in the IP. They were cooked the proper way.
But i did it my way, and that way could get me banned from entering Italy because i like my food spicy. Very spicy.
I knew that it wouldn't be as good as an authentic bolognese, but it was done once it came to pressure in 15 minutes.
Maybe you should try cooking with an instant pot one day. Just don't tell us!
I want to try mini meatballs
Since when you're chef Vitto? 😅
Good to see the views on Vincenzo's videos tanking in the last few months. The sooner these horrible channels with their elitist, supercilious and condescending sneering at others style of presenting die out the better.
Sorry, Vincenzo – carrots and celery ruin the taste of everything, except maybe soup. Soffretto, yuck!
"Spaghetti noodles", she got me there. Don't know why youwatchedthe 2nd video?
And well, the Americans call Football "Soccer".
https://youtu.be/Hbk75kAxZOE?si=Cu_yNS4BNaPXN3JU Quorn Spag Bol👍
I prefere cutting spagethi with a knife. If I Twist them around the fork I have to eat too much noodles at ones
I love watching your videos because they make me hungry and make me laugh, the best combination!
Well, what to expect from country having glowing white teeth and cream everywhere?
wow and peace be upon you sir from me
6:45 Break spaghetti, 2 famous Italian Youtubers scream "Noooooooo!" 😆
I've had many brands of frozen meatballs, and all but one were truly bad. I like some texture in my meatballs, so I put caramelized onions in them at the very least. Lately I've started adding Korean gochujang paste, and that really elevates the flavor. Usually I just eat my home-cooked meatballs in a sandwich or just by themselves. I like to keep maybe a dozen or so in the fridge almost always, for when I need a protein-packed nibble between meals to keep the hunger away.
