125 g raw almonds (about 1 cup)
125 g hazelnuts (about 1 cup)
375 g sugar (about 1 3/4 cups)
25 g flour (about 2 tbsp)
2 egg whites
Anise (to taste)

Place all ingredients in a food processor, excluding the egg whites.
Grind finely and then slowly add the egg white. Continue kneading the dough.

Let the dough rest for at least 2 hours.
Form rolls about 0.5 cm thick, then cut them to form small balls.

Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Let them rest for 2 to 3 hours.
Bake at 150°C (300°F) for 15 to 20 minutes in a fan-assisted oven.
