Looks amazing! There is a place in Long Beach, CA called Thai Curry pizza that does their own riff on this. It is f*cking fantastic and is definitely worth the drive down from LA.
I would love to see someone's reaction to this pizza without them knowing fully what it is. Just that it's a unique take on the margherita and that's it. I imagine their face would be a contortion of confusion, wonder, recognition, then delight.
i do not understand people that use those slicing mandolins with their hands. one slip with that and your fingertips are just gone. i won't even use one with the air hockey hand bumper safety attachment. put the blade in your hand, not your hand in the blade. knife safety 101.
