What Does It Mean To Step Out in Faith?
To step out in faith means to take a risk for God, knowing that He is going to catch you and be there with you if anything should happen.
It is going above and beyond to do God’s will, even if you don’t know what the steps in the process are yet, or what the end result is going to be yet.
3 ways to know if God is actually calling you into stepping out in faith:
1. You Don’t Know the Whole Plan
Stepping out in faith is frightening. It doesn’t make sense. But if God has a plan, and we are part of that plan, we need to shift our focus to being honored that God chose us instead of thinking that it’s our plan that we can do on our own.
2. It Doesn’t Make Sense to Man
Stepping out in faith almost always has resistance from people that want what is best for you. I’m not saying ignore other people’s advice. God gave us relationships and fellowship for a reason. But at the end of the day, if you have truly prayed over this inside and out, and still feel like this is what God wants, it may simply not make sense to anyone else. Because it’s not supposed to make sense.
3. It Has an Opportunity to See God Perform the Impossible
The reason why stepping out in faith does not make sense to us or people is because if it all made sense, we would never get a chance to see God perform the impossible.

been in New York more than I don’t care to be but hey they paid me something that’s right you got to go where the money is got to go with the money you got to get in that time and a half since it’s a holiday no I wish uh secular event on uh New Year’s Day New Year’s Eve oh I didn’t mean time and a half yeah well I mean I know we’re still winter but I’m sure you have to start gearing up for the energy going on we got some great great stuff to share with you today um but without further Ado let’s just jump right into our topic so today’s Diva table topic is looking for the drum roll all right so the topic is how do you step out on faith yeah yeah we’re talking about faith and stepping out on it and what does that look like how do you do it um so yeah how do you step out on faith and we’re going to be diving into that and talking about that a little bit during the show today and a lot of it I mean I kind of want to start off the new year with a topic on um on vision on an idea that maybe God put on your heart and um you know so we’re going to talk about that today yeah we’re going to talk about today today but um uh we gotta definitely jump into our word of the day that my godmother Delise has for us yes and in my newscaster voice the word of the day is discombobulated it is an adjective um used in a humorous way um it is being confused and disconcerted so here is my sentence am I doing good isn’t it yes it sounds great he was looking a little pained and discombobulated after he fell off his motorcycle okay right so you got it yep all right a little confused a little dazed okay you know okay so discombobulated what we got oh nothing good will come of this she got the Laquisha [Music] um I’m feeling a little discombobulated right now that works that’s right always work well we gotta use this word in a sentence at some point today during our conversation so you know if we use it right you’ll hear it ding ding ding from my Maestro Mr Michael it may be late but yeah she started yeah but you know what feel free to use it as well you know as I grow in my vocabulary I want you all to grow my world your what vocabulary that’s not what you said what did I say because we going to Italy we are okay we’re going to go to Italy yeah and we’re actually going to be featuring Dante’s a pizzeria Dante’s Pizzeria I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Danny Lita he is such a gem oh my God he is the nicest nicest gentleman you’ll ever meet he was so accommodating up he was a pleasure to sit down with he even gave me some tips and pointers on some things that I needed to learn about but wait yeah is he married actually he’s not married but he is involved so we would respect that I thought this was going to be one of those and then no but you know he has a lot of friends so maybe you’ll uh you know plug me in okay but yeah so today we’re going to be featuring Danny’s um Danny Leta his pizzeria pizzeria called Dante’s Pizza Pizzeria they’re located at 10 Madison Avenue in Cresskill New Jersey their store hours are from 10 a.m to 10 P.M Monday through Friday um and then um from 12 to 10 on Sunday their telephone number is 201-567-3935 and just a little authentic and homeless and they are known for their vodka sauces so you know but they make everything they make pizza they make um he actually made me a lobster ravioli with shrimp it was Magnifique it was so delicious oh listen to you yeah I know I know um so with every bite you take whether today or 20 minutes 20 years from now it’s always going to be the same so when you visit Dante’s you are no longer a customer you’re a family nice yeah your family and I’m family now thank you Danny um but what we’re going to be having today oh wow I don’t think well what we’re going to be having today is we’re having a Caprice we’re also going to be having fettuccine primavera with shrimp and we’re also going to have chicken parmesan and a pink vodka sauce one of those staple sauces so I can’t wait to dig it but who is God’s a prey well it’s your show you want me to pray yes yes all right I’ll pray I’ll pray Heavenly Father Lord God we ask that you bless this food we’re about to receive for the nourishment of our bodies Lord God lord we ask that you bless Dante’s Pizzeria I know he has several locations Lord God but I pray that you expand his territory Lord God bring him into the into places that people even scared to go Lord God so he can bless people with his amazing homemade sauces and and pastas Lord God so we just thank you for this food we’re about to receive in your name we pray amen amen all right I was ready to dig in uh I was ready to give I’m ready yeah go get it y’all oh we also have a muscle on here too they do make seafood no I’m like I was telling uh earlier I really want to get into muscles I have to well I’m a job that’s the first because see I’m a seafood because I’m going the other way I eat everything Seafood that’s good you’re all right the flavors are just amazing like I the the muscles are just not muscles they’ve got sores they’ve got seasoning on it I feel like I’m down the shore here we go oh my God that was a delicious bite I’m gonna taste this capriat tasting I taste the pasta noodles oh yeah and I just took a bite of the chicken parmesan which is delicious very flavorful the chicken is tender the sauce is out of sight very very good it like explodes in your mouth it really does I mean it actually seems like this is like fine dining Italian so I’m getting under my shirt be careful that’s why I wait till the last time and so tell me what is a Caprice um it’s Caprice is a tomato okay so I’m gonna try that balsamic on this yes it’s a balsamic on it actually it’s very good oh it’s delicious very good I’m about to say this um chicken parmesan let me get it out okay mm-hmm oh yeah this bad boy that’s delicious oh my God all right how you eat the muscle well I mean you can do it that way but it’s a proper way of eating them I use my floor yeah you can use it oh okay I’m looking to see for a friend you didn’t watch me do it no no he was gone quickly yeah yeah I’m a pro [Music] this is your first time eating a muscle actually I’ve had muscles before but it’s been that long all right we’ll go ahead I’m gonna see a reaction oh all right then that’s good oh my God bring him Danny oh my goodness you have to do it yourself thank you so much we’re gonna pass a super homemade grape vodka sauce everything on here is everything delicious it’s literally like you’re tasting Italian fine dining it shouldn’t even have Pizzeria on the end of it it should be done today’s fine dining Italian restaurant and support support the Mom and Pops yes definitely and go to his other locations he’s got several different locations one in Bristol Park and he’s constantly opening and expanded yeah um but look we’re gonna sit here we’re gonna tear this up but when we come back we got this amazing topic for you where are you has God put something right yeah on a journey for real it’s an experience well let’s Journey right through this topic today this is this is a great topic um and we’re talking about how do you step out on faith and I went on a website called praywithconfidence.com where it kind of it breaks down what it means to step out on faith so to step out of faith it means to take a risk for God knowing that he is going to catch that you got that information from but I love that it’s very clear yeah I thought that it was a very very very clear as as the breakdown um because you know I mean from one to three if you think about it I mean I can only use the example for this podcast right I had no experience whatsoever in podcasting right I was a singer I was an actress I’m a recruiter but I had nothing to do with podcasting but I remember during covid when they shut all the theaters down and I had no place to perform and I was like what am I going to do with all this creative juices and God was like and at the time both my parents had cut covered so I was nursing them back to health so I was going through somewhat of a depression because the enemy was really trying to get in my mind and tell me I’m about to take both of your parents so as I was actively trying to nurse them back to health I said okay well God I need to do something once they get back to health I need to do something to pay homage to you because I know he was the one that was getting them out the woodwork right so I had to go out every single day even though nobody was out on the roads I would just go in my car put my worship music on pray worship cry and I would ask for God to heal but then I also asked God to put something in my spirit so that when they were healed I could venture out and do something with all this stuff so God said you know what they did you should talk about love and relationships do a podcast love that and and I’m sure you will like and do what right with who right and how right and when and that’s the stepping out on faith part because you don’t hear somebody or yourself say what you actually touched on it when you said when you said that it brought me to the place where when I stepped out of faith and did music uh full-time my wife was like when I quit my job I came home and she said what did you do can we showed my wife at the time she’s my girlfriend and she said what did you do think about all the plans that I had all the plans that we had and it was like uh it’s not gonna make sense right but to the man I knew that I knew the voice of the Lord said go do this and I said Lord if it’s your will because then I put a demand on the faith substance of things over and the evidence of things like uh okay yeah this is for me then you keep my phone ringing my phone hello [Laughter] it rings all the time and amen it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and that’s how you know that you’re in line with God’s will because he will set it up for you he will put the right people in position in your life you know and things will come to you easy and I’m saying that you know I haven’t had some struggles because I have but even through those struggles God has provided um and so I mean like I said and also too I think we brought this up when we’re named one day when we were talking about Vision um but I knew I could not tell everybody right right because and that’s very important too you can’t tell everybody in most cases you should tell no one right because the vision wasn’t given for them it was given for you right and so when you tell them um Sometimes some people will work against you um speak some things against you so that that thing doesn’t come to fruition so yeah you should keep your mouth quiet and ask the Lord to tell you who do I confide in right right especially when people don’t know you to do something right right like you they know you have no history in doing it no experiences doing this so they might talk you out of it or they could be jealous because you thought of it before they did okay right Joseph Joseph uh not Jesus daddy Coat of Many Colors Joseph reads your Bible the dream coach they threw him in a pit because they didn’t understand his vision because his vision had them serving him and they couldn’t see that and when you have a vision that has people that are supposed to be here brought down here because now you’re there they’re going to do everything in their power ful’s wife uh the the getting him thrown into prison but every place he went he wound up prospering it because the will of God was over him read the Bible don’t worry about it impressing me today that was two for two is today Sunday listen don’t let the smooth taste fool you I know how to raise an offering now reaching your wallet real quick dining with a diva real quick I need a couple dollars because listen nobody honestly if you think about it all the vision that he had he spoke it and to the wrong people and they tried to kill him because of the vision that you have it but his his vision that they tried to kill him for wind up saving the world so you’re doing something now and you’re doing something now and we’re also doing we’re all doing something now that and he became the advisor to the king as well he was the man he was granted much space yeah he was he was the man so that kind of thing uh when the favor of God is over you but you have to make that step you know I’m reminded or I’m thinking of my own daughter right and so my oldest daughter is an interior designer and a fearless diy-er and so she graduated from undergrad with the BFA in interior design and couldn’t find her place and so almost gave up her dream of this is what I want to do you know I know that I’m good at it I know that I’m passionate about it I just don’t know how to launch and it wasn’t until she got silent and the Lord just told her do this now she has 120 3000 followers on Instagram companies reach out to her literally daily she she has she already hired her um a manager you know what I mean like so she has someone working for her under her that she pays right you have to trust God and listen to the voice of God somebody writer Jingles for them that’s gonna be me I’m leaving I waited two I’m I’m never mind you know because y’all have y’all are sitting on an amazing gift both of you and I don’t get me started with you I know this one does it sometimes I said this one because we’re still fighting but um I’ll sing it yes yes you have an amazing gift and because of insecurities and because of things and this that and the third don’t you don’t do it because I’m gonna cry but let’s go this is the year because you’re sitting on an amazing amazing ability that a lot of people wish they had that you have naturally well here’s what I here’s here’s where I am right now so now that God has put me in the direction of podcasting now what I’m trying to do is slowly but surely incorporate music now right into the podcasting and and you know I tell people I’m like an onion you’ll you’ll learn me a layers uh when I was giving you a chance you went back but like with what jalise was saying though I mean it was in those moments of Silence when I was in my car and it was just one-on-one with God and I was either playing my music praying that he started to impart in me certain things that I had to follow and various envisions and ideas and he said as long as you keep my word in it I bless you so I said well how oh how do I keep your word in it God he told me with every topic that you create I want you to have a scripture to match that topic as your positive takeaway to your audience so this is why at every show I have a scripture because I must Implement God in every episode in order for me to to always be aligned in his will and to continue to bless me so if there is a vision that you have if you feel like you’re coming up you’re waking up in the morning you got like this wrestling you know just wrestling in your spirit my capacitor used to say it’s not it’s not the extra detergent in your drawers it’s literally it’s literally the Holy Spirit yeah wrestling something in you stirring up something in you and so you want to just be obedient and be silent and wait for God to give you that vision and step out on faith and when you step on faith you will watch God bless you and provide for you okay but I was in my Bible okay and of course I had got a scripture another one specifically for this topic and I was Roman in Romans it’s comedian part of this okay in enrollment and Romans 10 17 says so faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of God so first you gotta listen and make sure that it’s the spirit and not the spirit right and then you just want to be obedient and just watch how God blesses you because our spirit will have you all discombobulated see what I did look at you swinging back to get the word you know what I’m saying love that for you Michael Lord have mercy but y’all I hope that you were blessed by this and you know feel free if there’s a project or something that you know God has put on your heart to do and you do it and you step out on faith and you become
