So today we are in a new town the town of corinho and have we got a property for you just wait just wait until you see this One so today we are in corinho and I’ve hit just the perfect time because it’s lunchtime which means we won’t see a soul on the streets lots of people say to me um do nobody live in these towns people do it’s just Italy is like this between 1 and

4:00 things just quieten down that’s just the way it is and I love it to be honest with once you once you’re here and you get to know that you understand it so there’s a bar here another one there another one around the corner there’s all the basic

Facilities here and um there’s great public transport because there’s buses that take you everywhere you’re really close to ryano where the uh uh train station is you’re really close to poy again train station so no problem with public transport it’s got a beautiful Old Town there’s a bit of a story behind corinho

Because to say it’s one of the first capital or the first capital of Italy going back well well before Gary Baldi and uh they said that when Italy was split into Parts this was the center of Italy anyway you know what’s great about this place as well look at this

You ever seen anything like this it’s absolutely stunning it’s really characteristic love these old towns so as I say public transport there’s plenty of it in in terms of buses um but you’re not far away from train stations as well look how beautiful these places

Else maybe even I don’t know not quite sure what I’d do with this you tell me tell me in the comments so it’s a little bit awkward to do the free to see the kitchen but the kitchen’s in in uh good condition to be fair kitchens of this

Motorway is I don’t know if you can see between the houses but you can see a bridge here that’s actually the motorway that takes you straight to Rome and straight to the coast so you got public transport that runs through corinho but you’re so close to the other towns

You’re so close to places like Po as well train station you’re close to suona location folks I think this is an absolute bargain absolute bargain double windows a little bit of a Juliet style balcony they’re not huge these but you can you can open the door

And sit reasonably close cuz it has this ledge bit like the other one so you could sort of open the doors and sit there you can see the mountains at that side I don’t know if you can see that there’s a fly screen on the outside the

Windows the windows are these are the older windows in these two rooms the others have been changed but the owners told me that they’re going to be changing these windows so so there you go brilliant and this has been restored it’s got new electrics the boiler let me just show

You the boiler the gas boiler for the heating is it’s not new new but it’s certainly not an old one this is uh looks in very good condition and usually to be honest with you if you were going to get another kitchen you could get a cabinet

  1. Nice place with a lot of potential. That little garden area in the front could become a nice private parking area or even a driveway with the furthest portion of the building converted to a large garage/shop.

  2. Dave, you've been holding out on us. Corfinio is a beautiful town. There is so much you can do with this property. I'm curious about the structures you didn't show. Is there more above the taverna? What is in the stone building that belongs to property in the courtyard area?

  3. Huge potential with this one. I love the idea of renovating the arched ceiling area into a residence and making the garden area into an oasis with a wood slotted pergola, beautiful stone 'flooring', loads of potted flowers and plants and warm uplighting to add ambiance as the entryway.

    If possible. add glass access door to the back garden.

No one comes out in day they come out at night LOL. I am an early am person I love the quiet mornings in Italy. If you are a night person that's when the Italians come out. Businesses are open later, they take hours and hours off in the day….3 hours 4 hours. It's quite a transition to adjust to. I LOVE THE different color brick cobbles

  7. Why put glass around the shower? As a former housecleaner and maid, glass shower surrounds are the worst. If you love cleaning glass then by all means go for it. lol
    Wet rooms are the best.

They were not quite as honest as we believe & others sought me out to tell me of their horrid experience buying from Dave who was goid during the transfer of money, them abandoned them with a property in ruins & NO ONE TO HELP. The contractors disappeared. Lots of legitimate Realtors & Attoeneus in Italy will help you without empty promises. They cannot recover their investment. Very sad. BEWARE💔‼️‼️‼️

    So on this house, the gray ugly part, does it have an upstairs or just extremely tall ceilings below? I assume there is no way into the first house from there currently?
    There's not much light down below anywhere. you'd have to "hope" they would let you make add window to make it habitable.
    How do Italians cook in these tiny poorly laid out kitchens? I think I'd reduce that french door to be a window, to run cabinets under it for more prep space. not only is that stove in the center of the room ( is it wood burning) but the refrigerator is in the living room. Yes, I know it's all one room. I thought I was going to love it, but but it has issues that would take a lot of work and some serious permission from the town board to make it great. But it does have potential.Maybe?
    plus it seems like a lot to pay for that much future investment, 50,000 maybe? hard to say.

  15. Hi David – I really like the views from this property, the feeling of the historical town and all of the unfinished extras the property has to offer. I searched for public transportation from Rome but Google couldn't provide any. I'm sure there are connecting trains and buses, but realistically, if you don't have a car and only live at the property a few times a year, what is the travel time like from Rome on public transportation?

  16. I can see the potential. With the big garden area behind would try to get a garage with driveway authorized where the tiny garden is. Any idea if that would work? Lots of open questions about the unshown spaces and what could or could not be done. The place definitely needs more light.
