Italians love pizza. And they’re not alone in that: pizza is probably one of the most popular dishes in the world. So what makes this flatbread topped with tomato sauce and cheese so special? We went to Naples, Italy, the birthplace of pizza, to find out. And who could know better than the Neapolitans themselves and the queen of pizza: the Pizza Margherita.

  1. Go to Naples, get world class pizza for 4 euro from family business going back decades or a century. Go to Lithuania, get garbage class imitation pizza made by some underpaid employee of investor named Jevgenia or Donatas for 10 euro. We are not the same.

  2. we call her simply la regina 😊 "che pizza prendi stasera? .. la Regina"😉 what else? Pizza Margherita forever❤️

  3. I haven't been to Naples yet, but I've been to other cities in Italy and I have to say, it's the best food I've had in my life. My favorite thing about Italy is the food. Steer clear of tourists restaurants and try to find where the locals eat and drink.

  4. When my son was a teenager, I told him that if he learned how to manage a pizzeria, he would never hurt for a job.
Of course, he didn't listen to me. He didn't have to.
    (:

  5. Crazy that Naples and Peru were once part of the same beautiful empire, the Spanish empire! Thanks to this, Naples got tomatoes and many other products from South America!! Which now make pizza possible.

  6. Did anyone check on the guy who stepped on the pizza? The way others were throwing venomous glances at him, he might be at the bottom of the Tiber now.
