This classic Lasagna recipe is perfect for a crowd! It features a creamy ricotta cheese filling and a meaty tomato sauce between sheets of lasagna noodles, then topped with mozzarella and parmesan before baking until golden and bubbly. 1. Looks AWESOME, and thanks to freezer containers, i.e. tupperware I have, reaching for a portion of lasagna when it calls to me, is so pleasant sans all the work done previously! : )

  2. Yes I like the video it is awesome thanks for the video I Love it yummy have a good day and Night ❤👌👍

  3. this looks amazing, but have you ever considered making a more traditional looking recipe? having just a picture for the ingredients makes it hard to use.

and i feel the pictures on the steps don't really add anything, other than length. **maybe** if there is a critical part of a recipe that a picture helps, but generally, i feel like they don't do anything.

i just really want to try some of your recipes, but how they are on the site make it almost impossible for me to parse out.

maybe it is intentional to get people to buy your cookbook though, which would make sense, but still frustrating 🤣

  4. I made this today, it's in the oven right now. The meat sauce is excellent. I can't wait to taste the final product. I used six cloves of garlic, no lemon zest but maybe next time.

  5. This looks absolutely amazing, I will be making this meal this week yummy!! Question with the tomato sauce you use. Would thus be tomato passta? From Australia.

  6. Can't wait to try making your delicious looking lasagna. It seems easier than traditional recipes I've made in the past

  7. An alternative to ricotta cheese is the following: 2 cups of pecorino Romano, one cup of cottage cheese, one cup of heavy whipping cream, 1/4 of a teaspoon of black pepper and four garlic cloves, minced.

  8. Pro tip for removing all of the tomato paste from the tin: open both sides of the tin and it slides out like a charm!

  9. Hi John, it looks soooo good, and I have been wanting to try a lasagna recipe! I have a question about the lasagna noodle to use: many of the ones available at my grocery store are "oven ready" and don't require pre-boiling. Should I avoid using those for this recipe? Really looking forward to trying it out this weekend! 🤩😋

  10. Your video is great. Can I ask the amount of ingredients in the video can be used for how many people?

  11. I love your videos so much every time I’ve made one they’ve come out so tasty and memorable

  12. It gets me mad how you go extra with the little things and there I go back to the market🤣😭

  13. Why you don’t use fresh tomatoes? and use Can tomatoes ? There’s nothing like fresh food

  14. Your recipes are the only ones I make without doubting their ingredients and flavor! I would like to see a recipe for a picanha barbecue (top sirloin cap), or in spanish "barbacoa de picaña"🤤

  15. Hi John! I just made this right along with you on a very humid day here on the East coast. I don't like sausages so I did Italian chicken sausage along with the ground beef. Boy, was that a work out trying to chop that up as it cooked! I finally had to break out the food processor, lol. My meat ended up minced but I don't mind that at all. This is currently cooking and I can't wait to try it. Thank you so much! I love your videos! ❤

  18. Ok I made this and I used the lemon zest and even a little fresh lemon juice from the lemon and my goodness you could definitely taste the difference it tasted sooo incredible after the lemon definitely recommend using it
