Do you think the new generations will destroy traditions?
the brand name is ragu, it is a good sauce to learn what not to do
From Tik Tok? Figures. Call it “million moron spaghetti.” Wouldn’t feed that mess to my dog.
Dude! She’s not making authentic Italian spaghetti. She’s making American baked spaghetti! It’s a totally different thing. Just because it has spaghetti in it doesn’t mean it’s Italian. Asian dishes also use spaghetti noodles! And some people put spaghetti in their chicken soup.
You need to relax.
Anyway, this looks good. I’d eat the sh*t out of this! 🤣
You should do a Philippine spaghetti recipe! But you’d probably have a stroke, so maybe not. 😂
When I get Alfredo in a restaurant, I order a side of meatballs with tomato sauce on them. I eat them together. It’s one of my favorite things.
You should try it!
You know, I love Italian food, and I appreciate that you teach the “authentic” recipes, but…Italian food is not the only kind of food in the world.
Perhaps it would be better to stick to teaching the authentic way, rather than putting down other types of food, which are just as legitimate as Italian food.
This dish was not made the Italian way ON PURPOSE. Because it’s NOT ITALIAN! It’s American.
I mean, would you put down a Chinese or Vietnamese cook for making a noodle dish that they like? It won’t be anything like one of your Italian dishes, and they will not be using Italian techniques. But it doesn’t make it wrong.
Just say you don’t like baked spaghetti. You’re allowed.
Oh mama mia..my Nonna is flipping in her grave🇮🇹
Try cooking your pasta and rice in vegetable stock. Amazing!
Disagree with everything else!
Not gonna lie, I would absolutely tuck into that bake. Probs use a shorta pasta but that looks pretty awesome. Then again, I like the burnt bits of cheese after a bake.
To be fair to the original uploader, I put this squarely into more contemporary soul food than I would Italian cuisine
Million dolar trash….
Hey v… who outside of Australia knows about chicken salt. This pasta looks to Melburnians like it was cooked and created by people from Sydney.
I can definitely see some redundant ingredients, and outright mistakes, like making the noodles wait on the sauce…a couple-few things that are just…wild, like…creole? seasoning? But bottom line, if my mom made this for me when I was a little boy I'd lick my plate clean and ask for seconds and sit back and pat the ol' tum-tum and feel happy and safe and loved.
Plus, wow…religion? Really? Dramatic much lol…I'd also note, every religion has its origins in heresy, and anyway, it's not like this tiktokker came over and erased Nonna's recipes so maybe settle down, there…
As a non italian person, i learn a lot from your channel. I am very obsess to cook italian dish in the right way. And i am surprise because italian dish that you teach is is different from what i eat in ny life. Damn! Not gonna believe anyone anymore in my country. But can i ask one question? In some of your recipe, you use white wine. What can i substitute that wine with? Because i am muslim and i cant take wine. But i still want to cook italian dish. Thank you very much. Love from malaysia.
Is okay in a italian cuisine combinate white sauce with red sauce?, and thanks to not review italian dishes in spanish jajaja you will be crazy with some dishes that make in latinoamerica
I used to love watching your cooking videos. Lately, it’s been all about reaction to crappy food. I know you are trying to raise awareness, but it’s very boring after 1 or 2. I wished you went back to new recipes. I used to learn more about Italian culture by watching authentic Italian recipes than bad Tik Tok copies.
TikTok videos are actually more harmful than smoking cigarettes.
hell yeah PARMEJAN cheese
pasta rodeo ride
I could never watch those videos.
So thank you Vincenzo for taking the hit for us! 🙂
I gave up half way through the video, could not stomach it anymore.
Hats off to anyone who can.
That pasta is already dead by the mid of the video
There is some interesting ideas here that are worth keeping. The chicken brouillon in the water is essentially MSG in water. Using a MSG and sea salt combination, I think, is a great idea. Most people dont’ know the flavor of Chicken brouillon comes from MSG. And I will defend the use of Minced Garlic in the jar. Sometimes its ok to use that short cut. Always have that big jar & always have a few cloves and a garlic press. A Tuesday night pasta after work, doesn’t need freshly crushed garlic. Just use pre-minced garlic, quality olive oil,
is there an authentic million dollar spaghetti ? , i love pasta and italian pasta dishes but some of the authentic ancient recipes can be considered bland by modern tastes , especially by americans as the italian americans have added to the traditional recipes to give a more robust flavor. peoples tastes change over generations and so recipes evolve , if you have not already heard of him i would highly recommend max millers tasting history where he recreates ancient recipes and rates them .
Poorly conceived pasta al forno.
Ciao Vincenzo,
thank you very much for all the interesting and entertaining clips you published on youtube!
When it comes to 'bucatini all' Amatraciana', 'ragu alla Bolognese', 'all' Alfredo' or 'spaghetti alla Carbonara' and many, many other Italian dishes, I fully agree that we (non-Italians) should respect the traditional and 'authentic' recipes as much as we can: at least when we name these dishes according to their Italian, 'authentic' version.
The Italians take their culinary tradition very seriously, whereas my people (the Dutch) are completely lacking any sense of morale with regards to what they put into their mouth. Probably, the Americans are even worse than we are, as demonstrated in this clip…
In this particular case, though, it's about a 'Tiktok million dollar spaghetti recipe'. Whatever you may think of it, this recipe is probably something many people would enjoy eating. In your comments, however, you're talking down on it. The person in the clip never said it was 'Italian'. It's a way to prepare pasta: their/her/his way.
So…………………, before condemning something because it's not the way to do it as an Italian, try it the barbarian way & then post it! Believe me: there are a million ways to f*ck up spaghetti that are delicious!
Thank you again for your Vincenzo's plate video's!
I'll bet the cook is Haitian not only because of the Creole seasonings but the chicken bouillon. Every Haitian I've met must, MUST, use Maggi chicken cubes in virtually every recipe that isn't sweet. I suspect Haiti is the Maggi chicken cube epicenter of the world.
Ragu is disgusting. It's super sweet. Full of corn syrup.
I think i would rather eat a whole packet of raw pasta than whatever that was… It looked like an image of a desert from space with burned bits of parsely on top. Absolute shit.
Ooooo 😂😂😂😂 we luv u ❤
Dead pasta is a dead giveaway that someone doesn’t know what they’re doing.
I wonder what one could do to really make Vincenzo lose it?
I love you, Vincenzo, and you’ve helped me tremendously with my Italian cooking, but nevertheless, I’m almost considering it a challenge:)
Ragu is the name and it is terrible. I stopped using it years ago when I read it has high fructose corn syrup or sugar and my son refused to eat spaghetti, pomodoro and ground meat. American version. Thanks to you and Pasta Grammar I have learned to make real Italian food. Much better!
“You will be on the toilet for at least a couple of hours after you eat this” pure Gold
No one eats like this, not even in the US. Social media isn't real, and this is a fine example of it. Guaranteed all that went straight into the trash after the video
scusate il ritardo , Vorrei chiederti se posso usare la pancetta nelle braciole?
Just look at how bad it is. I wanna go to toilet already 😅 😭
