Boil your potatoes with sea like salty water. Put your cheesoning on the potatoes before you put your cheese blend on. Lower your oven temp.

the potatoes may have came out better if you would have put them in the oven a short time before topping them

He should've baked these on an oiled pan and spread them apart more. Then the bottom would've been crispy. Maybe put the cheese and sauce on after the Prussia l potatoes bake for a while.
As an Irish man this is probably the biggest waste of potatoes ever.
If a pan with holes was used the potatoes would probably be crispy.

You were supposed to season it first then put it in the oven
You gotta put the Cheesoning during the mozzarella phase. That way, you get the sear of the spices and the cheeses join. Yeehah it's Dan tasty!
