Maiden voyage of my Roccbox – Pepperoni Pizza

    My Roccbox arrived on Friday and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I had a busy weekend, so unfortunately it was just mass manufactured dough, whatever tinned tomatoes I had in the pantry, random pepperoni from the fridge and leftover cheese from the freezer.

    Despite all that, this was still the best home made pizza I’ve ever made. It’s amazing the difference cooking at 450c in a pizza oven makes compared to cooking at 250-270c in a regular oven. The dough was so light, airy and soft to bite through. I can’t wait to see what sort of pizzas I’ll be able to make with home made dough and some better quality mozzarella.
