Park Slope in Brooklyn is well known for its brownstones and tree-lined streets. The residents of Park Slope are literary, family-oriented, and socially conscious. The neighborhood’s social activities are centered around Prospect Park. There are several nice restaurants, cafes, and specialty stores. It also has a vibrant nightlife scene, there are great wine bars and pubs. In this episode, I met up with my friend Hisham Oumlil, a fashion designer, owner of the Oumlil brand, and native of Park Slope. He took me to all the great spots in his neighborhood and he also spoke about his fashion brand, Oumlil. His new collection focuses on the new beginnings after the trials and tribulations that the world went through during the pandemic. We also met up in this episode with our good friend Gene, a Staten Island resident, and had a great evening. We tried out a great brunch place, Krupa, and then a really quaint Italian Restaurant Provini. We also went to Azul for some great Mexican food and then ended the evening by visiting Ottava, a great Pizza place with a fantastic organic wine selection. If you like this episode, please mention it in the comment section. If you want me to visit some specific spots in New York City or any other cities, please mention that in the comment section as well.
