A Taste of Adliya – Food in Bahrain

This time we experience some excellent presentation and service, starting with brunch at the Downtown Rotana. Brunch is a big thing in Bahrain with many of the hotels and restaurants offering their version of the all you can eat and drink brunch style for just under a hundred bucks or so. The Downtown Rotana put on a nice surf and turf style brunch – as you’ll see in the video – with many sushi options, seafood, shrimp and steak!
Next we head over to Oliveto, a really nice Italian restaurant in Adliya, Bahrain. Our visit here was during the height of Covid restrictions – and it was Julia’s birthday – and we enjoyed having the entire place to ourselves! The inside lounge area is money, but outside by the pool is where we were set up. Very nice selection of Italian delicacies!
Lastly, we hit Clay Bahrain. This place is pricey, high-end dining, but very worth the visit for the quality of the food, service, and presentation! A great mix of seafood and steak, Japanese and Mexican, a little bit of everything and a fantastic experience!
