King’s Hearty Sardines Pizza
A sardines pizza that tastes fantastic and healthy too! Quick, easy and a family-s favorite…oh, I should say, lover’s favorite because its cheesy and deliciously good!😋This recipe may be both baked or cooked over low-heat, covered, just to melt the cheese.
Ingredients:
2 pcs. pizza base (store-bought)
4 cans King Cup sardines in tomato sauce
3 tbsp.olive oil
1 onion, medium slice
1/2 tsp.Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp.spanish paprika
1/2 tsp.mixed ground pepper & salt
1 tbsp.lemon juice
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
1 cup pineapple chunks, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 cups, mixed processed cheddar & mozzarella
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/8 cup parsley, chopped
Procedure:
1. Heat olive oil (one tbsp.) in a non-stick pan.
2. Pour in four cans of King cup Sardines, and sautè a bit.
3. Add italian seasoning, spanish paprika, lemon juice and mixed ground peper & salt.
4. Gently stir to combined.
5. Removed the sardines to be use for toppings (8pcs.), shred the rest. Let it cool.
6. Brush baking pan with olive oil.
7. Spread the shredded sardines mixture into the pizza base.
(While doing this, pre-heat oven to 180°C.)
8. Topped with processed cheddar cheese, and mozzarella.
9. Then arrange bell pepper, King cup sardines, black olives, onions, pineapple chunks, mozzarella and some cheddar cheese.
10. Baked for 8-10mins.or until cheese melts. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
11. Transfer in a plate and serve hot!
Repeat process.
(If you’re using a non-stick pan, be sure the flame is low and covered it to melt the cheese.)
