PIci are hand rolled spaghetti from Tuscany, and 93 year old Peppa helped to popularise this pasta by helping to organise a sagra or food festival celebrating them at a time when ‘cucina povera’ wasn’t esteemed. The sugo all’aglione means a sauce made with the garlic typical of the area around Celle Sul Rigo where she lives.
